Welcome to Honor Earth Farm!

We are a small organic farm located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of the Pacific Northwest.   We grow premium organic hazelnuts available here on our website, along with organic tree fruit and berries available at local farmers markets.   Our organic hazelnuts surprise everyone at market for their fresh flavor, perfect roast, and dense nutritional content.  We enjoy helping people become re-acquainted with how important nuts are in your daily diet, providing healthy fats, protein, and a rich diversity of trace minerals in a very small package.  If you want to eat a healthy diet, choosing organic food goes without saying!   If you believe like we do that caring for the soil, water, air and other life that thrives on our farm can coexist with healthy food production, you are in the right place!   It’s your choice — you get to decide which type of agriculture you want to support with every food purchase you make.   Join us in being the change we wish to see in this land we love, on this beautiful planet we all call home!

In 2018, we have leased our orchard to another farm who is working our orchard for the year and will harvest and market the hazelnuts from the 2018 crop.  You can look for the same hazelnuts we’ve been growing and selling over the last 10 years in December 2018 at:  My Brothers Farm

During 2018, Linda is spending some of her time helping to launch the Oregon Organic Hazelnuts agricultural cooperative.

Our Values

Honor Earth Farm aspires to bring forward the wisdom of indigenous cultures, and their respect for the Earth, into our farm and food production practices of the present and future.

Our farm reflects our values:

  •           Treating the Earth as we would treat ourselves
  •           Promoting Diversity:  Both biological diversity and human diversity
  •           Being open about our growing practices
  •           Helping other farmers learn organic methods
  •           Supporting local and regional food systems

Linda Perrine is the farmer and owner of Honor Earth Farm and has been farming organically for the last 10 years.   Linda is a graduate of the UC Santa Cruz Organic Farm & Garden apprenticeship (2002).  Prior to 2008, she taught environmental education at Walden West Outdoor School in Saratoga, CA.  Linda also helped launch Full Circle Farm, a non-profit educational organic farm in Sunnyvale, CA.  This project returned 11 acres of public school property back to farming, its former use prior to being converted to a school.

In an earlier life, Linda was involved in high tech work with NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX and  Adobe Systems in San Jose, CA.

Maddie is our border collie farm dog who loves to chase nut stealing squirrels, orchard leaves in the fall, basketballs, rocks at the river, and all of the above in her dreams!
